At 1344hrs on September 1, 2017 the Belmont Fire Alarm started receiving calls for a house fire as well as a central station alarm. Initial Response was Engine 1,2 Ladder 1, Rescue 1, C3. On arrival C3 (Captain DeMarco) found heavy fire showing from the rear of the structure and ordered a working fire assignement. Shortly after Rescue 1 found during their primary search that there was a significant smoke condition on division 3. A second alarm was struck. Additional Belmont companies operating at the second alarm were: C1, C2 (Interior Ops), Car 4 (Safety Officer). Mutual Aid Companies from: Watertown, Arlington, Cambridge, Professional Ambulance. Waltham companies provided station coverage.
